I am a member of the Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer (German Association of Interpreters and Translators, BDÜ) and a Qualified Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting (MITI). I also translate literature and poetry. In 2020, I won the Austrian Cultural Forum London's Translation Prize in the “aspiring literary translator” category for my translation of an excerpt from Die Damen des Hauses by Susanne Scholl and received a first-time entrant commendation in the Stephen Spender Prize for poetry in translation for my translation of the poem Die Entwicklung der Menschheit by Erich Kästner.
