I am a professional translator specializing in English-to-Brazilian Portuguese with over 20 years of experience helping businesses communicate effectively across language barriers. A native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese and fluent in English, I began my professional journey in journalism, later transitioning to language services where I’ve since built a robust portfolio. My work has included projects for esteemed clients such as the BBC, UNICEF, Petrobras, and Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil. I hold a Master of Literature in Film and Television Studies from the University of Glasgow (2017), supported by a prestigious Chevening Scholarship, which reflects both my academic commitment and professional focus on media content. Over the past ten years, I have specialized in film and television subtitling, collaborating with leading LSPs including Moravia RWS, TransPerfect, Rev, and Zoo Digital.
