About
I am a Spanish freelancer working in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. Passionate about communication and cultural phenomena. I am a translation, adaptation and localization professional working in projects in different nature. A big part of my work consists of audiovisual translation and subtitling of award-winning long and short movies, such as the winner of the Un Certain Regard award at Cannes, "Black Dog" (2024), Crimson Gold (2003), the premiering film in Berlinale "Gloria!" (2024), as well as the Goya Nominee "Trazos del alma" (2021) or "El tratamiento" (2019), shortlisted for the Oscars. I have also worked for NGOs translating European projects and providing linguistic assistance for different kinds of needs, as well as website and game localization, academic translation, transcreation and copywriting. Contributing to the visibility of culture internationally is my driving purpose as a linguist. Graduated on Translation and Interpreting in the universities of Granada and Lisbon, and in the American University of Boğaziçi in Istanbul, I currently offer my services as a full-time freelancer.
